Sashiko litterally means "little stabs". It is a single running stitch technique known traditionally as Japanese hand work. We've taken the simple concept of these "little stabs" and married them to Northwest Coastal Art and other Alaskan-themed images. The most exciting results are achieved and no real difficult patterns are presented.
