Sashiko litterally means "little stabs". It is a single running stitch technique known traditionally as Japanese hand work. We've taken the simple concept of these "little stabs" and married them to Northwest Coastal Art and other Alaskan-themed images. The most exciting results are achieved and no real difficult patterns are presented.

Kit includes royal blue fabric, water soluble printed sticky back image to place onto fabric for your guide, a line drawing of the art for duplicating another guide, sashiko instructions, needle and sashiko thread.
